Peter started his career with MetLife in 1987. He focused on individual family coverage and within a short period began providing coverage to business owners, including Group Medical, Dental, Life and Pension & Retirement Planning. In 1990 he was licensed for Property and Casualty Insurance, and was able to provide coverage to individuals, Auto, Home and Excess Liability Coverage. Within a short period of time he was able to offer coverage for businesses including Workers Compensation and State Mandated Disability.
In 2016 Peter transitioned to Fortis Lux Financial as part of the move from MetLife to MassMutual. Now, with 30 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Peter has helped a number of small business owners, individuals and retirees with healthcare, personal insurance and retirement plans. A large focus is continuing to work with Non-for profit organizations, including Churches (House of Worship) on employee benefit plans including pension plans in the 401(k) and 403(b) markets.
Peter received his BA from Brooklyn College in 1983. He currently serves as President of the Parish Council of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, Paramus NJ. He is a Boy Scout Merit Badge Councilor, North Jersey Council BSA. He is married and has one son Christos, who is an Eagle Scout (2008) and received his BS(2013) and MBA(2015) with Honors, from Seton Hall University in 2015. Those who know Peter, know he is a frequent visitor to Disney World in Florida.
