Daniel began his career in the financial advising industry in 2009 as a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors, focusing on the attorney and financial professionals market. In 2012, he moved to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor in their Practice Management and Development program, successfully graduating the program and qualifying as a Portfolio Advisor in the Personalized Advisor Discretion Program. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Daniel worked in private equity as an analyst in Milan, Italy. Daniel is currently a financial advisor with Fortis Lux Financial and is working towards obtaining the Certified Financial Planner designation. As a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Daniel holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations. He also holds a designation in Wilderness First Aid from the National Outdoor Leadership School. He is fluent in Italian, conversational in Spanish and is learning Russian.
Daniel has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America his whole life. He is an Eagle Scout and volunteers with Troop 1 in the Upper West Side of Manhattan as an Assistant Scoutmaster helping the boys with advancement and developing their outdoor skills. Daniel is also active with the Cornell ILR Alumni Association and is an admissions ambassador for Cornell University in their Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network to help personalize the admissions process for local high school students and their families who may be prospective Cornellians. He is passionate about mountain pursuits and is a frequent rock and ice climber. He also enjoys trail running, cycling, fastpacking, cross country skiing, triathlons and sailing.
