Tod is a financial services professional with extensive, diverse experience in marketing, sales and account management. Success across several financial product verticals including investments, insurance, benefit plans, estate planning, commodities and derivatives. Commitment to customer service has always been paramount, from introduction through closing.
For close to two years beginning in 1996, Tod has managed many employees while working in Uzbekistan. Upon his return to the United States he entered the world of commodities trading where he worked on many trading floors, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), New York Board of Trade (NYBOT), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and the New York Futures Exchange (NYFE). Working on the various floors evolved into trading energy commodities for his own account and then as a broker for over the counter (OTC) trading.
In between working at the various trading floors, he left tor Chicago where he managed the planning and execution of a strategic geographic expansion for his brother’s New York-based company WhenTech, specializing in software for traders of options on futures. Entry into the Chicago marketplace was achieved through this new start-up operation
After the exchanges started closing one by one, Tod left to start his career into the financial industry.
In early 2013 he joined AXA Advisors where he was quickly acquired to join a special Platinum family group, Pegasus Private Client Group. He worked there three years before coming over to Fortis Lux Financial where he brings his extensive, diverse experience in marketing, sales and account management. He has success across several financial product verticals including investments, insurance, benefit plans, estate planning, commodities and derivatives. Commitment to customer service has always been paramount, from introduction through closing.
Tod graduated from The American University in Washington D.C. where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.
Tod and his family are very involved with various charities including Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Cancer Center, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), The March of Dimes and Make-A-Wish.
Tod resides in New York city with his wife of 17 years and their 6-year-old daughter.
