Back in high school, a friend called Jaime the “planner’s planner,” and she has been guiding individuals and processes ever since. Today, she provides comprehensive financial planning, including wealth management solutions, risk management and estate planning advice to address clients’ present and future financial priorities. She also focuses on meeting the complex needs of small business owners as well as working with donors and organizations to leverage financial strategies for charitable giving.
Jaime started her career as a corporate events planner, helping to ensure that large-scale events in London, Sydney, Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York went off without a hitch. She interned at the Smithsonian before joining Nielsen, a leading information, data and measurement firm.
When the co-founder of a startup indoor children’s playspace called, she was ready for a new challenge. Over the next seven years, Jaime oversaw the launch of two new locations, managed charitable initiatives, directed daily business operations, sales and marketing, customer service and finances, and more than doubled the growth of the events and party department.
In 2015, Jaime decided it was time to focus on helping others in a more tangible way and decided to join New York Life as a financial services professional. Working primarily with young professionals and families, she achieved Council status over each of the next four years by providing insurance (life, disability and long-term care) and investment solutions, retirement planning and college funding.
To expand her holistic planning capabilities and partner with a dedicated team of professionals, Jaime moved to Fortis Lux Financial in 2019.
Jaime is a passionate volunteer and active community and board member. She is involved with multiple cancer-related charities, including Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
Jaime holds a B.S. in Communication from Boston University, enjoys urban rebounding and is a connoisseur of ice cream.
