Joanna Anderson is the Director of Business Development at Fortis Lux Financial. As a member of the Leadership Team, Joanna is responsible for on-boarding and the oversight of the due diligence and licensing process. She also acts as the liaison for home office support for the agency. Her responsibilities also include identifying and cultivating an external talent pool in order to ensure the growth of the firm. Providing a best-in-class experience to her colleagues and their clients is paramount to Joanna.

Joanna began her career with MetLife 7 years ago as a Marketing Coordinator. While in this role, she supported a team of financial professionals on their individual marketing plans, coordinated seminars and events for the firm and ensured her colleagues had the resources they needed to help guide their clients to achieve their financial goals. Prior to joining MetLife, she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree, double majoring in finance and mass communication at the College of New Rochelle in Westchester NY.

Joanna grew up in New Rochelle and is the oldest of 4 children. Today, she resides in Hartsdale with her husband Brian and their son Lucas.
